Another Heart Squeezing Moment

I found what must be the tiniest nest ...not even 3" wide

So cute with chips of paint>>>

Momma bird worked hard on her beauty...now the nest looked like a little bump on this bush not really even a tree...people walk by it everyday and don't think anyone even noticed...So let us give a huge hand to MOMMA bird...She made quite the nest and hid it right in front of people's faces ...

Just wait to see you see the baby ...

He is so cute....That little baby was so squished in there...no room for momma..but she fed him...I went to visit him everymorning for about mmmm 2 weeks at least..

Then one day the proud moment happened

He flew away and left this cute tiny nest

How do I know he was a boy...

Well Cause we had our talks ...not really hed didn't say much

just open his mouth for food...that's is how I knew he was a baby boy>>

Ok...so I crack myself up..

This is going to be Miss Viv's little secret garden...Through the garden gate...all the neat surprises await..

We will changing things up .....Little Red Hen is adding Yarn and classes...Of course I will be teaching the classes...ok some of them ...

and the Little Red Hen's Cottage will be filled with all kinds of goodies and the theme will change often....

Such as we have started to make it a spring birdsy, birdhouse , herbs and flowers kind of them....

Red/white/blue will come for americana good ole fashion look......

and so on....Can't spoil all the surprises....especially the other themes...

I'm so excited I can't wait....I'm a jumping up and down....LOL

We will hold classes in the courtyard in the evenings too as soon as it warms up and dries up....

Catching up on some heart squeezing moments....

Another delivery was made on the hats....

I am officially at 240 left on the hats and scarves to make.....

I have about another 30 more....I'm working and workin...

SO the lady that delivers the hats and scarves for me said she wanted me to go with her on a busy day so I could meet some of the people....I would be crying way too much so I'm good...
She shared this story with me about how she went and there was a mother and daughter that both were doing chemo together and they happen to be wearing the hat and scarf sets I had made...The mother/daughter had stopped her in the parking lot and asked if she was the hat lady and wanted to know why people that didnt even know them would make this for them....she told them because we could and we wanted to....GOOD ANSWER...As I have said before it is the only thing we can do to help in some way and spread some love and caring thoughts.....They were so grateful and my heart squeezed.....when the hat lady went inside the office, people gushed all over her thank yous and kind words for the hats and scarves we made....Thank yous are not needed, .....see I would be crying and hugging and then every stitch I make I would continue to cry for knowing just a little what they may be going through....I admire the strength people have to deal with all they must deal with...So I challenge you all to do one thing this week that will put a smile on someone's face that will give them a little lift on their burden....it will do your heart some good and their heart too...

Sugar Pie FarmHouse........

I have achieved....I met Aunt Ruthie Today...

She came to the Emporium and Miss Viv introduced me to Aunt Ruthie....
I was truly excited ...I told her sign my arm or shirt something....I read her blog all the time....I asked her bout a certain post me and viv were looking for and I commented bout another post and she said you sure do read my blog.....You know it....I discovered it in May 2009 and have read all her old posts.....Gotta seriously LOVE IT....She lives in Missouri....Mables home state....Ok...where my family is too at least a part of them.....


Today is exceptional........She truly inspires me and makes me smile when I read her Blog...

She was so gracious, cause the first time of pictures I forgot to put the memory chip I was so darn excited....Mables said I was like a little eight year old girl running around so excited....
